Good news for animal husbandry:


Currently, those who are doing dairy farming or animal husbandry are getting more help from the government, they are going to give subsidy loan or subsidy to them. Under this scheme, other loan facility i.e. loan without interest is providing other facilities. Also, it has come to know that those who rear crossbred cows will get 90% subsidy loan from the government.

2023-24 is providing subsidy for purchase of crossbred cows under special unit scheme and tribal grant under unit sub-scheme under Uthejana program to pastoralists.

Also, another important issue is that the government provides 90 percent of the cow purchase, i.e. 58,500 as assistance. And the remaining 10% i.e. 6,500 will be given in the form of loan from the bank. Apart from this, not only male farmers but also 33.3% of women and 3% of disabled people are also given subsidy in this one scheme.

How much subsidy is available under this scheme?


In this scheme, crossbred cows are distributed in a cow unit called Mishrathali. And the unit cost for this is around Rs. 65,000 was found to have been deposited. Also for ST, SC category Rs. 58,500 as subsidy has been decided.

Details of eligible applicants for this scheme:


Firstly the applicant should be engaged in animal husbandry. Also secondly he said that Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe wage laborers and agricultural laborers will be selected for this scheme. Also need to have FRUITS ID i.e. identification number. It has also been mentioned that the applicants for this one scheme must be members of milk producers’ cooperative societies.
